♡ % A workaholic complete perfectionist who puts her all into her craft. As part of this she is unable to truly relax, even when she’s sleeping. The only time she lets herself relax is when she’s drunk or with her boyfriend.♡ % Finds it hard to sit still, and is often seen pacing or moving in place unless she’s working on music. This also manifests itself in her sleep patterns, resulting in her being a restless sleeper who moves around a lot.♡ % Attempts to be free spirited, but unfortunately is rather short tempered. Mostly set off by people outside of her close circle who attempt to ‘banter’, or people who think insults = humour.♡ % Little bit of an open book due to her reactions to things, although she actively tries her best to appear more ‘mysterious’. Usually writes her thoughts and feelings down in an attempt to get them out of her system.♡ % Has a younger (fraternal) twin brother named Hwang Jinho, or Khrystoper Reno Hwang, who primarily goes by the name Keeno.♡ % While she primarily grew up in Torrance, Los Angeles, her mother grew up in France and her father worked in France before adopting her and her twin brother. Due to this, Sona has grown up speaking French. Their family also has a holiday home in Marsaille.♡ % Went missing with her twin brother for a week in 2012, after her mother's younger estranged brother, albert, picked them up from school and took them out of the state. They were later found unconcious in the sewers of Raccoon City. Has little to no memory of that week, aside from waking up in hospital with her other uncle. henry, standing over her.♡ % Was in Raccoon city with henry when the zombie outbreak happened, and only just managed to escape intact with him. still actively has nightmares about the events, and ptsd from it. attempted to work through what happened by letting it inspire her music. the black noise songs pins and needles, midnight, nola 1, cover my eyes, and in the dark are all lowkey inspired by the events of raccoon city, as well as the trauma and state of her mental health following her escape.♡ % Has a distinct fascination with ghosts and the supernatural, to the point where she even had a crush on a ‘ghost’ she encountered in her youth. She even wrote a song about her crush, which was released on the Black Noise album 'WORLD'S:END'.♡ % Has a cat named Mono who she adopted in late 2018. He acts as Black Noise’s unofficial mascot, and consistently makes appearances on Sona’s social media along with the social media accounts of the other members. As of October 2021 she's also adopted a second cat named Pluto, who she found at a shelter she went to with an actress friend.♡ % Doesn’t really respond to being called her stage name outside of work hours unless it’s from someone she doesn’t know too well. Prefers to be called Allison or Alli, but won’t object to Sonnie or her Korean name.♡ % While writing lyrics, she tends to use the life experiences of herself alongside the people around her, creating a character that the songs are in the point of view of. She mixes this in with her fascination of the supernatural, and attempts to create universes within songs and albums.♡ % Started producing for other groups and artists in 2020 in an attempt to branch out with the sounds she makes. Usually writes and produces for other artists under the name ‘SONA.TA’.♡ % Will put herself through ‘solo song camps’ where she spends a whole week at Siriusly’s building and sleeps in her studio, using the week to write songs.
